Welcome to the Karst Topography mystery knitalong.

This will be a top down, triangular shawl using 3 colors of DK weight yarn (4 skeins total). The pattern will have texture and color, as well as some lace.

What is karst topography? Karst landscapes consist of a series of underground caves, pools, and rivers. As water runs from the surface down underground, it carves out softer rocks such as limestone, while the harder rock surfaces remain intact. The caves formed by this erosion can become quite intricate with caverns, columns, and tunnels. Karsts can also produce fresh water springs and sinkholes.

We will explore some of these shapes with color and texture in this knitalong.

When you purchase this MKAL pattern, you will receive a introductory information page. Each subsequent part will be released on the dates listed below.
