This scarf, made with both an unusual and little lace known stitch, is both fun and fairly quick to make. The lace stitch itself, is an easy one, even if you’ve never knitted lace before. The scarf is enhanced by a bead crochet edging. The optional edging is made using a Bead Single Crochet, so if you know how to do a single crochet stitch, the pattern clearly explains how to add beads to that. If you’ve never done bead crochet, but have wanted to learn, this is a good introduction.

Skill Level: For Scarf: Beginner + - Intermediate (assuming a knowledge of knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing and yo’s.)
