When I was in Scotland I was taken with the way the old castles were built out of random sizes of rocks and stones found in the fields nearby. This textured pattern is my interpretation of that effect.

The Kastali texture is a combination of a repeat knit/purl pattern and a small cable to represent the fancy borders that were often incorporated into the doorways and windows of the old castles.
