12 sts and 16 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch on US 15 (10 mm) needles, blocked

NOTES
Scarf is worked flat. Reverse stockinette stitch is used for the main fabric; stockinette stitch is used for the blocks. Intarsia is used to join colors.
When knitting odd rows during the slanted square, be sure to pull the first purl tighter to maintain an even stitch size. Also note that when knitting the slanted square, one st is knit in MC after the join before switching to reverse stockinette. This allows for a cleaner transition and join.
