The Kate Beanie is crocheted using worsted weight yarn and a size J crochet hook. The ribbed band of the hat is created first and then the body of the hat is crocheted in the round with cluster stitches. The beanie can be made in three sizes: adult, child (5-11) and toddler (2-4). The finished beanie will measure approximately 9 ½” inches tall for the adult size, 8 ½” for the child size, and 7 ½” for the toddler size. The slightly slouchy hat is topped with a purchased or DIY faux fur pompom.

Materials:
Worsted weight (size 4) yarn – 1 skein Lion Brand Touch of Alpaca in Taupe, Purple Aster or Olive.
