This shawl/wrap will make you look like a rock star knitter with typically advanced beginner skills! Use one size larger needle than you normally would to get a nice drape! The Half Circle shawl shape starts out with a garter tab and grows with a few stitch increases. Use the garter ridge section or simple repack it with Stockinette stitch. The Lace pattern is simple feather and fan and very repetitive for easy memory. Or follow along with written instructions/chart and knit with ease. If the ruffle is too much.. don’t put it on and just do more repeats of the lace without doing the final stitch increase! End up with a few garter ridges and you have a masterpiece..

When I have knit this with a gradient, I normally use two cakes of the same. When adding the second cake, I use the same color I ended with and gives it a beautiful blend as shown in the picture to the left.

Thank you Jen Lucas, for your amazing patterns, inspiration and support on getting me started writing my own patterns! You rock!
