Birds and Butterflys and Flowers, Oh My!   Spring is here and it’s time to work in the garden.  
 
This pattern was inspired by my friend Kathy’s lovely garden. The choice and arrangement of the patterned hexagons is up to the knitter.  Patterns included:  Dragonfly, Butterfly, Humming bird,  Lily of the Valley, Rose Tulip, Honey Bees, Bird House, and more.
 
Directions are included for the lace weight shawl or a sock weight  throw.
Yarn:
Shawl - 2 skeins Fino by Alpaca with a Twist
Throw - 4 skeins Socrates by Alpaca with a Twist
Finished size:
Shawl - Back length 25 inches
Throw - Approximately 50 x 56 inches
 
Level:  Intermediate
