A flattering summer dress with a fitted bodice and A-line skirt worked in engaging, textured stitches. The back is fastened with delicate buttons and crochet button loops, and the neckline and armholes are edged with a simple round of garter stitch.

Rib band is worked first. Bodice and skirt are picked up up from either side of the rib band and worked in opposite directions.

Bodice stitch pattern is very stretchy and is meant to be worn with no ease or some negative ease; choose the bust size that is close to or slightly smaller than your actual bust measurement.
