Introducing the Katie Shawl! Named after the ‘oldest’ twin sister and designed around everything that Katie loves. This is a bottom up triangle shawl that is 98% garter stitch with just a little extra fun texture that we called the ‘eyeball’ stitch!

This shawl was originally designed to be a sort of ‘scrappy’ fingering weight shawl that uses 100g of a main color and 5 coordinating 20g mini skeins. HOWEVER, as you know, we love to hack all the patterns and our own designs are no exceptions.

This shawl also looks great in 2 colors and then we realized that the color combinations and possibilities are endless.
The instructions are written for 1 main color and 5 contrasting colors BUT you can manipulate the colors as you choose. There is a handy planning sheet on page 7.

Main Color: Approx 425 yards
Contrasting Colors: Approx 425 yards total
Size 4mm needles

Note We have provided a Katie’s Shawl tips and tricks video that you can find on our YouTube Channel
Cozy Up with the Stitchin Sisters. We will show you how to work the Eyeball stitch and the Double k5 as well as some other techniques you may need some help with along the way.

We hope you enjoy the Katie Shawl!!
