The mittens are knitted in the round from the cuff to fingertips, with increases for the thumb on the side. These mittens are great multifunctional mittens, as they can be used both fingerless and as regular mittens. As the flip top opens up on the back of the hand, the right and left mittens are mirrored. So make sure to follow instructions for right and left section.
