Katy Hat was inspired by KTandtheSquid Done in Love Pullover when it was a CAL in September 2017.

Originally the idea came about as i was making my daughters pullover (still a WIP… oops!) that a matching hat would be a great accessory.

Many months later i finally wrote the pattern up and then it was tested by my amazing team of testers.

Design Features
This design is worked bottom up, so the ribbed band is made first then the body of the hat.
The body of the hat consists of alternate X stitch and Sc

Materials:
This pattern can be made in any weight yarn, as it is not restricted to counting, just measuring, so make sure you have a tape measure handy!

2 sizes of hooks - for example:
Sport #2 (3.5mm, 4.5mm)
Dk #3 (4mm, 5mm)
Aran #4 (4.5mm, 5.5mm)
