PATTERN NOTES
This Cardigan is worked from the bottom up in one piece to the sleeves, then each front and the back are worked separately to the shoulders.
The Garter Stitch Increase/Decrease pattern decreases stitches on Row 1, and then the original stitch count is restored on WS rows.
Because this pattern is worked on a larger needle than the hem, the stitch gauges are the same.

The Garter Stitch Increase/Decrease pattern is very drapey and stretchy. Although the total length for this cardigan is somewhat cropped, the weight of the piece will cause the finished garment to hang lower.
