This quick and easy amigurumi bee is made from back to front, with colour changes for the stripes. The little face is sewn on using round black beads and thread. Finish off your bee by sewing the tiny crocheted wings in place.

The whole project will take about an hour, or less if you’re familiar with crochet.

These mini amigurumi bees make cute little gifts or decorations, and you can sew a keychain on top to make them functional too!

They’re great for using up leftover bits of yarn in your stash.

Size:
Using medium (worsted) weight yarn and a 3.5 mm (E) crochet hook, your bee will be about 5 cm (2 in) long. However, exact gauge isn’t important, and you can easily adjust the size by using thicker or thinner yarn.
