This tie is knitted flat, with a selvage edge. Interfacing is added for strength and stability. Satin is added for a finished look, and it is hand sewn up the back, like a standard fabric tie. Although it may change shape after being worn, and being tied, it should regain it’s shape after a light mist and blocking, or quick ironing.

Kayak came to us as a very sick baby hedgehog. After several weeks of vet visits, medications and syringe feedings, he gained weight and regained his health. He was an exceptionally sweet guy, always ready for treats and cuddles. Over the years, he was on the news, as well as featured in videos, magazine and newspaper articles. His story brought attention to the needs of hedgehogs, and helped rescue efforts for them all over the US and Canada.
