I am appreciating cowls for their soft, comfortable warmth without fuss. Unlike scarves, they won’t slip off and get lost at the most inopportune moment. And they can be just so darn pretty.
Entrelac suits itself to a number of yarns. The look can vary dramatically depending on what you choose. I made two versions of this cowl, both knit in the round. One with a provisional cast-on that plays with yarns with a long colorway like Plymouth’s Kudo or Mushishi. That version is knit in Plymouth’s Kudo.
The second version starts with a more straight-forward long-tail cast-on and is great for playing with different colors of solids.
My two-color sample was knit in Cascade 220. You could use multiple colors here though. Rainbow would be cool!
