Kedala, meaning knowledgeful, inventive and elegant.
Well now, that certainly sums up this striking shawl…
With two delectable lace patterns to explore and knitting in two different directions, this shawl is really fun to knit.
Not to worry though, it is easier to knit than you may think and the end result is definitely striking.

The blocked size is 64” in length and the middle height 16”.

The pattern is fully written and also has a chart for your knitting pleasure~

Yarn used here
4 skeins of Softness, 100 yards each in a DK/light worsted weight. Each skein blends 2 colors and 2 strands of yarns in a thick and thin cotton and a smooth Dralon into an un-plied skein that is wonderfully texture rich and soft too, as you can see in the photos.
The color way as shown: Deep Praline
The knit kits are available at www.yarnz2go.com

Gauge: 16 sts and 28 rows in 4” of Stockinette stitch.

Techniques used:
Knitting, purling, lace, placing stitches on hold, picking up stitches and changing the knitting direction, decreasing, increasing, binding off, weaving in ends and blocking.

It seems the last line in Part 3 was cut off to repeat this part on opposite side of shawl.
