Keely Cat Bonnet
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Description: This bonnet is worked flat, starting with a 1x1 ribbed edge. The main body begins flat in stockinette stitch. Two ear sections are established with markers. Ears are shaped using increases on either side of a central stitch. After the increase section, a seamless specific decrease sequence gathers all stitches of each ear. The work is then joined to be knit in the round. The crown is shaped using decreases at four points.
A Note on Gauge: To ensure a perfect fit with any yarn, this pattern is structured by gauge. It is highly recommended to knit a swatch in Stockinette stitch, wash, and block it to accurately measure your gauge and choose the correct version of the pattern for your project.
