Amp up your tea time with this cozy, designed to fit over your favorite teapot, keeping the heat and steam trapped inside so that you don’t have to suffer that worst of indignities: a cold cup. British WWII aphorism “Keep Calm and Carry On” has taken the world by storm. With “Keep Calm” on one side of this cozy and “Carry On” on the other, it will help you remember why you’re drinking that tea in the first place, as well as brighten your kitchen and your day.

You need worsted weight cotton-based yarn, approximately 150 yards in red and a few yards extra in white, to make this pattern. I used Lion Brand Cotton-Ease, 50% cotton and 50% acrylic. The saying can either be embroidered on or done with stranded colorwork.

This is an intermediate level pattern; standard abbreviations are used and basic knitting knowledge is assumed. If you don’t understand any of the terms in this pattern, just Google them! There is a treasure trove of how-to videos out there. You can also contact me for pattern support at any time, as this pattern is still being tested. If you catch an error, please let me know asap.
