There is an error in the written instructions for chart 3:
row 3 should end repeat to 3 sts before end, K1, YO, K2.

This shawl is designed to showcase the beauty of variegated yarns especially Dye Diana Dye TussaLin. The linen stitch fabric and the raised beaded eyelet rows add a little interest without distracting from the yarn.
The pattern is adaptable and can be worked with any yarn weight from heavy lace to sport.
Beading is optional.
Gauge is not important; choose a needle size that gives you a fabric you like.
Both samples are 53 cm deep and 120 cm wide (approximately 21 inches deep and 47 inches wide).
The sample in Dye Diana Dye TussaLin used 49gr/296m with 3mm/ US 2.5 needles.
The sample in Zauberwiese Merino/Silk with alternative bind off used one complete skein (400m/100gr) on 3.5mm/ US size 4 needles.
