Keep it Simple -neuleliivi

Keep it Simple -liivi on yksinkertaisen tyylikäs neuleliivi, jonka sivuilta avoimet reunat solmitaan kiinni näyttävillä, leveillä nauhoilla. Keep it Simple -neuleliivin helma on takaa pidempi kuin edestä. Sileä neulos antaa langalle tilan loistaa.

Keep it Simple -neuleliivi neulotaan yhtenä kappaleena takakappaleen resorista kohti hartioita. Hartiat neulotaan erikseen ja yhdistetään jälleen yhdeksi kappaleeksi jättäen tila pääntielle. Etukappale neulotaan hartioista alas etukappaleen resoriin asti. Silmukat kerätään pääntiestä ja resorikaulus neulotaan kaksinkertaisena. Liivi viimeistellään leveillä, solmittavilla nauhoilla.

Malliliivin lankana on Linkulla Spinneri lammas-alpakkalanka. Kotimainen artesaanilanka hurmaa rouheudellaan. Korvaavaksi langaksi sopivat dk-vahvuiset langat, joiden juoksevuus on 50g = 100–130 metriä.

Keep it simple slipover

The Keep it Simple slipover is an elegantly minimalist knitted slipover with open sides that are tied closed with wide, decorative straps. The hem is slightly longer in the back than in the front. The clean stockinette fabric allows the yarn to shine.

The slipover is worked in one piece starting from the ribbing at the lower back edge and knitted upward toward the shoulders. The shoulders are worked separately and then joined again, leaving space for the neckline. The front is worked from the shoulders downward to the front ribbing. Stitches are then picked up around the neckline and a double folded ribbed collar is worked. The slipover is finished with wide knitted ties at the sides.

The sample slipover is knitted using Linkulla Spinneri DK wool yarn. This Finnish artisan yarn stands out with its rustic character. Suitable substitute yarns include DK-weight yarns with a yardage of approximately 100–130 m per 50 g.
