Keep shining beautiful one. The world needs your light. --Unknown

If you like my Light From Within cowl, you will also like Keep Shining! Keep Shining is the same style, where you simply drop the cowl over your head and you get a boomerang-shaped scarf look without having to wrap the ends.

And, just in time for Mother’s Day, Keep Shining is a quick and easy pattern that you can crochet in one day!

Keep Shining is crocheted with DK weight yarn and with different and unique stitch patterns. The main body section of the cowl is crocheted with an easy two-row repeat that forms an interesting mesh pattern. The stitch pattern for the lace section forms arches and spaces and is so pretty you do not need additional edging!

Use a nice Summer DK yarn and wear in warmer temperatures, or a wool DK yarn for colder temperatures. For my cowl, I used the very light and airy Berroco Summer Silk that comes in beautiful colors and is a pillow-y soft silk/cotton/nylon blend yarn.

Whether you purchase yarn, or use stash yarn, use a Summer or Winter yarn, you will enjoy crocheting and wearing this simple cowl. And, you can crochet this cowl in a day so it’s great for gifting!
