Kelly Kangaroo is a bouncy 14 inch tall Australian kangaroo. She is 14 inches from the front of her nose to the tip of her tail. While a bit wild, she is looking for a forever family to protect her from wildfires. She is also practicing staying her distance.

Materials:

Red Heart Hygge: Pearl, Latte
Red Heart Super Saver: Black, white (small amounts)
5.5 mm hook (I), 4.0 mm hook (G), 3.75 mm hook (F), 3.25 mm hook (D) for nose tip
Safety Animal Eyes .47inch (12mm)
WARNING: Choking hazard not for children under 3 yrs. Small parts!
Polyester fiber fill for stuffing
Darning or tapestry needle
Row Marker
Wire brush or pet fur comb - Furminator (for fluffing ears)
Long ball or T top straight pins to hold pieces in place while attaching

HINTS:

To change colors, put hook through stitch where color changes. Pull through first portion of single crochet, then pull through new color on second half (2 loops on hook) of single crochet. Proceed to next stitch with new color. Single crochet a few stitches. Cut end of old color leaving about 3 inches of yarn. This can be knotted to new color end.
