Kelmscott Shawl
This stunning shawl combines Tunisian crochet with mosaic colourwork and cables.
MATERIALS
● West Yorkshire Spinners Morris DK, 50% Bluefaced Leicester
wool/25% Bluefaced Kerry Hill wool/25% Masham wool, 50g/112m/122yds
Yarn A: Orchard 1284 x 3 balls
Yarn B: Yew 1282 x 2 balls
Yarn C: Chrysanthemum x 2 balls
● 6mm Tunisian crochet hook
● Cable needle
● Lockable stitch marker
TENSION
Work 15Tss and 15 rows to measure 10 x 10cm/4 x 4in using 6mm Tunisian crochet hook, or size required to obtain tension.
MEASUREMENTS
Finished shawl: 140cm/55in along the top edge, 55cm/21¾in deep and 196cm/77¼in along the bottom edge.
