Kenny Scarf
by Isaac Thull
Made using a simple, luxe stitch, the Kenny Scarf is a beautiful Tunisian crochet kerchief made using Tunisian Simple Stitch. The easy repeats and simple shaping make it a perfect weekend project. Once you have it on your hook, you won’t be able to put it down.
Uses a 6.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook with a 16” cord and 1 skein of Lion Brand Wool Ease Roving Origins.
2nd Sample: Caron Blossom Cakes in Caribbean Sea
Notes:
- The scarf length can be adjusted by adding/ subtracting repeats.
- The pattern is divided into 2 sections; increase and decrease. This is so the row count does not get out of hand. Place a stitch marker in the 1st row of the decrease section for easier counting.
Finished Measurements:
66” Wingspan x 8” Wide (at widest point)
Gauge:
17 st x 15 rows in Tunisian Simple Stitch, unblocked = 4” square
