Kensington is a plain rib cowl hidden behind a magnificent beaded lace curtain. This beautiful, beaded waterfall of lacework covers the sturdy cowl beneath to create a piece of knitwear worthy of a red-carpet night out. The pattern is not a big project so it could be easily knitted up in time for the winter festive season for you or gifted to your friends and loved ones.

This pattern is one of ten new designs in the book, Modern Vintage Knitting, available on Amazon.

The pattern uses 100g of aran weight yarn together with 50g of 4ply for the lace. Adding the beads is optional.
In the book, each design is shown in two color ways using different yarns. The projects do not need specific yarns just ones of the right weight.
