Inspired by the many wonderful yoked sweater patterns with Fair Isle charted designs, the Keukenhof Capelet, is a top-down design knit in the round. The yoke provides a beautiful canvas for tulips from the famous Keukenhof Tulip Gardens in Holland.

The capelet begins with a decorative but sturdy picot edge, flares to make room for the shoulders, splashes with the tulip garden color work, and ends with another picot edge.

Two sizes and two colorways, “Van Gogh” (shown in the top picture in size Large) and “Rembrandt” (shown in the bottom picture in size Medium) provide options for size and colorful expression.

Jorstad Creek’s Vashon is a superwash Merino wool. Because this is a worsted weight yarn the Keukenhof Capelet knits up quickly and the yarn’s reflective qualities make the colors pop.
