This fun Christmas sweater is knit from the top down with 3D trees knitted separately and sewn on.

The pattern has videos to show you how to do several of the techniques in the pattern.

Sizes: 0-3 (3-6 : 6-9 : 9-12 : 12-18) months 2 : 4 : 6 : 8 : 10 years

Yarn: You will need between 1 and 3 balls of Paintbox Simply DK - 171 (181 : 217 : 241: 269) 308 : 370 : 434 : 487 : 557m / 187 (199 : 238 : 264 : 295) 337 : 405 : 475 : 533 :610 yds. You will also need yarn in green and brown for the trees, plus some scrap yarn for babubles (photographed sweater features Vanilla for the sweater and trees in Racing Green, Coffee Bean and Red Wine for the baubles).

Gauge: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10cm in stockinette stitch on 4mm (US 6) needles

Needles: For the sweater - 4mm / US 6 and 3.75mm / US 5 circular needles 60cm/24in long. For the sleeves - 4mm (US 6) and 3.75mm (US 5) needles - either shorter circular needles or double pointed needles. You will also use the 3.75mm (US 5) needles for the trees

You will also need: tapestry needle, stitch holder/scrap yarn, a little bit of toy stuffing or you can use scrap yarn to fill the Christmas trees which I have tested and works just as well
