Key and Basket is a traditional mosaic pattern in two colors. This cowl is knit in the round in three tiers and the length can be adjusted slightly in the final tier. It gives a great effect with 16-stitch and 32-row repeats in a series of interlocking shapes. I think this would be fun for knitters of all experience levels.

The Lana Grossa yarns I used were in my stash and have been discontinued but two colors of other DK yarn can be used.
Color A is Black, 6 skeins of 109 yards; Color B is Pale Green, 3 skeins of 131 yards.

The cowl is worked in the round with size 6 and 7 circular needles with both 24-inch and 32-inch cables. The only other requirement is a yarn needle to sew down the hems.
