☘️ Tropical greenery you can wear

The Key Largo Top is inspired by the lush tropical greenery that backs every view in the Keys. Key Largo is one of my favorite places, not as far south or as crowded as Key West, with so much to offer.

When winter starts to fade and we all dream of somewhere warm, this airy top is the perfect thing to have on your hook. It is also free on the blog.

✨ What makes it work

• Four simple rectangles. Two for the body and two for the sleeves, worked flat.
• Blocking opens it up. Blocking to measurements brings out the stitch and drape.
• Ribbing shapes it. Worked at the bottom and on the sleeves.
• Neat neckline. Finished with reverse single crochet.
• You’re not on your own. Video tutorial and written pattern included.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Hawthorne Fingering Multi, WeCrochet (80% fine superwash highland wool, 20% nylon, 357 yds/100g). Color shown: Mt. Tabor
• Yardage: 800 (840, 950, 1050, 1300) (1400, 1500, 1600, 1700) yds
• Hanks: 3 (3, 3, 3, 4) (4, 5, 5, 5)
• Hook: Furls hook H (5.0mm) or hook to obtain gauge
• Tools: Removable Stitch Markers (if needed) · Yarn Needle · Scissors
