“Khaleesi” Shawl
“Khaleesi” has been created as part of my “Game Of Thrones” Inspired designs in conjunction with Honey Girl Farms yarns.

This pattern is inspired around the character Danaerys Targaryen, The Mother Of Dragons, using the colours from her clothing and the paleness of her hair, she is a very feminine character in the book/series and I wanted to make a piece to replicate that.

The stitches at the top of the shawl are used to depict the solidness and strength in her character, whilst the open lacy wide border, gives the feminine aspect.

It’s a crescent shaped shawl using two skeins of fingering weight yarn to create a shawl that could be worn anywhere and be created in an infinite number of colourways.

It’s a perfect pattern for those luxury skeins where they call for a contrast skein or to be made solely in one colour, the choice is yours!
The pattern is written without stitch numbers, just requiring the stitches to remain an even number whilst creating the shawl.
Gauge is not necessary
