Gauge:
22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 inches in stockinette st and needle 4 mm (U.S. 6) or the size needed to obtain gauge after blocking.

Khanjar is worked from the neck to the bottom edge (top-down) in one piece without seams in stockinette stitch and lace stitch.
It starts by working in the round. The neck is shaped with shortened needles while the increases for the “contiguous” saddle shoulder are worked on each round. Continue to work in the round and increases for sleeves. It increases for the body and the sleeves are separated. After the separation of the sleeves from the body, the latter is worked from the armholes to hem in lace stitch. Work the sleeves one at a time by putting the stitches back from waste yarn to the working needles and work in rounds.

Khanjar è una maglietta lavorata dal collo al bordo del corpo (top-down) in un unico pezzo senza cuciture a maglia rasata e pizzo.
Si parte lavorando in circolare. Il collo è sagomato con ferri accorciati mentre si lavorano su ogni giro gli aumenti per la spalla a sella “contiguous”. Si continua a lavorare in tondo e ad aumentare per le maniche. Gli aumenti per il corpo e per le maniche si eseguono separatamente. Dopo la separazione delle maniche dal corpo, quest’ultimo è lavorato dalle ascelle al bordo a punto pizzo. Lavorare le maniche una alla volta in circolare a maglia rasata.
