Khione Mittens
Khione Mittens are worked in the round in rib and stranded colourwork following a chart. First, the ribbing is worked, then the hand in colourwork with increases for the thumb and decreases shaping the fingertips. Finally, the thumb is worked.
Tension:
31 sts and 37 rows in pattern using 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
(measured after washing)

Total length: 32 (34) 36 cm (including the rib, which is folded)
Sizes 1 (2) 3 correspond to a hand circumference (measured around the knuckles) of 17-19 (19-21) 21-23 cm

Col A: approx. 130 (150) 170 m (2 balls, all sizes)
Col B: approx. 55 (60) 65 m (1 ball, all sizes)
Col C: approx. 40 (43) 45 m (1 ball, all sizes)
Colours used for the samples: col A = 343 (Ivory), col B = 640 (Stonehenge), col C = 462 (Ginger) / 1160 (Scotch Broom)
