Kickin' It
Mary Margaret Fibres is having an anniversary!!! Her 7th Year Anniversary colourway is an incredibly vibrant peachy/pink with blue and yellow speckles and as soon as I saw it, all I could think of were all the colours I wore in the 80’s and 90’s. These socks were inspired by that era. They’re reminiscent of vintage gym socks, pulled up tall and proud. Something we can all wear when we feel like Kickin’ It old school.
Yarn Requirements:
- These socks are knit using a fingering weight sock yarn. You will need 3 coordinating colours.
- For my sock, I used Mary Margaret Fibers Fingering in the 7th Anniversary Colour (MC), Paradise (CC1) and Aqua Tropic (CC2)
- As for the yardage needed, it will depend on the size of sock you are knitting. 100g for the MC and 20g for both CC1 and CC2 will be more than enough.
- For my socks, I ended up using 60g for MC, 10g for CC1 and 12g for CC2.
