These boot cuffs are finished with a shell edging on one end and a tailored, slip stitch border on the other. Worked side to side, they have a comfortable stretch and are easy to customize for a perfect fit. The romantic, ruffled rose is the perfect accessory!

Customizing Kidwelly Cuffs for your boots (or as legwarmers):

There are no “typical boots” and the same is true for cuffs. What works for Wellies won’t for fitted boots … and then there is the height of the boot to consider, how deep you want the cuff to be, is the cuff to be worn at the ankles or the calves, etc. The sample for this pattern is worked in aran weight yarn. If that produces a cuff too thick for your needs, you can use a finer weight yarn (and the appropriate hook for that yarn) and adjust for size with the instructions provided in the pattern.
