I love a chunky cowl, they’re fashionable, warm and you don’t have to worry about your scarf coming undone because a cowl will stay exactly where it’s put.
I’ve included 2 sizes (child & adult) so this would make a really cute “Mommy and Me” set! This Bobble pattern is a lot of fun and is simple to create, yet gives a lot more interest than a straight knit cowl.
And the best part? It’s super easy to create as the pattern only requires the knit and purl stitch (and the ability to make the bobble—but with my directions it should be fairly easy!) making it the perfect first time project for any new knitters, or a great pattern to tackle while you’re watching your favourite Tv show.

You need:
US 13 (9mm) round needles
Yarn I used: LionBrand Hometown USA in Tampa Spice

Gauge: 9s and 12 rows = 4x4 inches
