Killylea is a comfy cowl, knit seamlessly in the round with two contrasting yarns. The tweed-like pattern is created by knitting the next stitch in the row below. The visual texture is created by purling alternate rows. The results are stunning and the fabric is thick, soft and squishy!

The size is easy to modify. Once you have met gauge in Stockinette Stitch, use the pattern gauge to calculate your preferred size. The reverse side creates an attractive, secondary pattern, making this an excellent choice for a longer, Infinity cowl.

In addition to basic knitting techniques, the pattern includes: an alternative method for joining-in-the-round, knit-one-below, and how to create an invisible join when binding off in-the-round.

This pattern is well within the capabilities of an adventurous beginner and offers something-a-little-different for experienced knitters to enjoy.

This pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
