Kimora is a gentle baby komodo dragon who loves hugs and tickles. She loves to play in the mud and climb trees all day long.

The size will vary depending on the yarn/hook used. If you use the recommended yarns, Kimora is approximately 9“ tall (23 cm). Based on my testing, different hook/yarn size could effect the center alignment of the toy. You may need to adjust stitch counts on several rows where the color changes.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner to intermediate

Materials

• Any yarn size 4 (medium) in colors of your choice. in yellow, orange, sage, and light pink.
• Crochet thread in black
• Crochet Hook size 3.0 mm
• (2) 10 mm safety eyes
• Tapestry needle and sewing needle
• Fiberfill for stuffing
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
• Sewing pins

Techniques you need to know:
Alternating colors, magic circle, sc, sc increase, invisible decrease, hdc, dc, bobble st. Embroidering/sewing skills are a plus.

A little fun fact:
Komodo dragon is Indonesia’s national animal symbol. The giant lizard lives in remote tropical islands and can grow up to 3 metres in length. The female lay eggs as many as 20 at a time. They hunt and ambush prey including invertebrates, birds, and mammals.
