Inspired by the famous windmills at the UNESCO World Heritage site at Kinderdijk in the Netherlands, this shawl features everything this wonderful landscape has to offer. From the windmills themselves to wooden shoes and from pollard willows, to cows and swans. And of course, a field of flowers!

Although most triangular shawls are knit from the bottom up (adding stitches in every row), this shawl will be knit top-down, decreasing stitches in every round. This way it will take less and less time to finish a round as you move through the pattern, which is very motivational!

Gauge is not critical for this pattern.
Exact yarn requirements are listed in the pattern.

There is also a yarn package available at the website.
