Celebrate King Charles III Coronation with some unique handmade bunting that will have you standing out from the crowd!

The collection provides you with the patterns and charts for SIX different flags: Large Detailed Coronation Flag, Large 2-Colour Coronation Flag, Large Union Jack Flag, Small Detailed Crown Flag, Small 2-Colour Crown Flag, and Small Plain Flag.

The coronation flags are approximately 26cm wide at the top and 30cm long.

The union jack flag is approximately 24cm wide and 28cm long.

The small flags are approximately 19.5cm wide and 22cm long.

This pattern is worked in the round to give you a double sided flag - this gives your bunting flags more weight, so it sits better, particularly when putting it outside; it also means there are no visible wrong sides on display for the flags involving colourwork.

You will need:

• Hayfield Bonus DK yarn: 4x White (961),
1x Ladybird (0698), 1x Royal (979), 1x Bright Purple (828), 1x Cornfield (574) 1x Emerald (916) (You only need a tiny amount of Emerald). 100% Acrylic, 100g (3.5oz). Or any preferred DK yarn.
• A 4mm (US G/6) hook.
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle

With 2x 100g White, 1x 100g Red, 1x 100g Blue, 1x 100g Purple, 1x 100g Yellow, and 1x 100g Green (or any green scraps you have lying around as you only need a tiny amount) DK weight yarn, you can make approximately 15 flags of the following: 2x Small Plain Red Flags, 3x Small Plain Blue Flags, 3x Small Plain White Flags, 1x Union Jack Flag, 1x Detailed Coronation Flag, 1x 2-colour Coronation Flag, 2x Small Detailed Crown Flags, 2x Small 2- colour Crown Flags. Also 2x 100g White or colour of choice will make approximately 9 metres of bunting tape.
