King Cobra
A stuffed king cobra toy. Finished toy was approximately 4 feet long, but the length is adjustable based on the number of stripes you use in the tail/body of the snake.
Gauge is not important for this toy, but the stitches need to be close enough together that stuffing does not escape from between the stitches.
3 colors of yarn (black, gray, and cream) are used for the body and head. Small amounts of yellow, pink, and white yarn are used to embroider the snake eyes, make the inside of the mouth, and make the fangs, respectively.
I don’t know how much yarn I ended up using for the toy, but I used less than 1 skein of each color.
This pattern was developed in a rush for a gift, so I didn’t write down some of the information (exact yarn type, gauge, yarn amount) and it is possible that there are some mistakes, especially in the hood/head area. If you find a mistake or have a question on any of the directions, please reach out.
