King Doniert's Cowl
The King Doniert’s Cowl is inspired by the Celtic knot carvings which appear on the eponymous stone and the ‘Other Half stone’ at the 9th century monument on Bodmin moor, managed by the Cornwall Heritage Trust.
These dense interlacing cables use a ‘closed loop’ technique often used in Celtic designs.
The cowl is single-size, but includes a Size Modification section with specific suggestions of where to add stitches or rounds for a custom size, step by step calculations you will need and chart adjustments where applicable.
Pattern provided in charted and written form.
