King Haakon Street is a very short typical street in Lerwick, the opposite of any place dramatic or spectacular, like this tam is a tiny knit based on tradition and intimacy.

King Haakon Street is a stash burner, just a few meters of a different color can change the entire tonality of your hat.

Feel free to dig in your imagination and try new combos.

Your hat? actually nope, but you doll’s hat. This pattern is meant to fit 16-18” dolls with a circumference of the head measuring about 12”/13”.
(Winterludes of course but many other dolls including American dolls)

You’ll need a total of 20 grams of light fingering Shetland yarn (or at least yarns that stick together) and US 3 (3.25 mm) DPNs or circular needles.
