Kingfisher
You can find here the pattern for a Kingfisher.
The pattern consists of 11 pages with explanations and pictures to follow through. It’s also doable for lefthanders.

You need to know basic knowledge in crocheting:
- magic ring
- chain
- single crochet
- half double crochet
- slip stitch
- increase
- decrease

With hook size 2.5, the Kingfisher will be around 9.5 cm tall, 5 cm long and 4 cm wide.

Yarn: Use the colors and weight you prefer and the appropriate sized hook.
I’ve used a 2.5mm crochet hook and the following yarn:
Color 1: turquoise (hobbii rainbow cotton 8/4 33 turquoise)
Color 2: orange (hobbii rainbow cotton 8/4 57 orange)
Color 3: white (hobbii rainbow cotton 8/4 52 vanilla)
Color 4: dark turquoise (hobbii rainbow cotton 8/4 35 petrol blue)
Color 5: dark blue (hobbii rainbow cotton 8/4 prussian blue)
Other materials needed:
- Soft stuffing
- A needle and some black and white yarn for embroidering, sewing pins, scissors
- Optional: safety eyes 8 mm (or any other appropriate size), stitch marker
