Here’s my first pattern ever!! This top features an open weave pattern in the front for a little bit of flirty action. It tapers out from the neck and ties around back. This pattern includes options for both the tied and collared options for this top. The tied version ties twice at the nape of the neck, while the collared version features the hardware from a martingale collar for a bit of kinky fun.

It includes suggestions for creating a larger finished garment, but is worked out to my own measurements of 32” underbust and 38” bust.

Be sure to adjust the number of stitches and rows to fit your own measurements and comfort, and don’t worry about sticking to the numbers I’m using.

I recommend using a yarn that is not stretchy. The finished piece should be fairly structured and you want it to hold its shape well. The fabric will end up with some light stretch due to the crochet stitching.
