Kinsley is a classic yoke sweater inspired by traditional motifs of Scandinavian knitwear. Knit in the round from the top down, this sweater looks stunning in golden and deep blue hues.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Materials: Medium weight yarn

Yarn: Malabrigo Worsted (100% Merino wool; 210 yards 194 meters/100 grams): 150 Azul Profundo (MC, 4 (4, 4, 5, 5) (5, 5, 6, 6) (6, 7, 7, 7, 8) skeins), 63 Natural (CC1, 1 (1, 1, 1, 1,) (1, 2, 2, 2) (2, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins), 35 Frank Ochre (CC2, 1 skein).

Needles: US Size 8 (4 mm) 16” circular needle for neckband, set of DPN’s for sleeves, 32” circular, or longer, for yoke and body.

Notions: Markers, waste yarn, tapestry needle.

Special Stitches: 1×1 Ribbing; German Short-Rows

Pattern Notes: Be sure to check gauge for colorwork as well as Stockinette Stitch. If colorwork is tighter, consider going up a needle size when working these sections.
