Edo kiriko, produced in the later Edo period in Japan, is said to have been created by cutting, polishing, and engraving on clear glass by hand. The patterns of Edo kiriko are inspired by familiar traditional Japanese motifs, such as arrow feathers, chrysanthemums, and hemp leaf patterns. ❑ These socks are worked top-down with basic gusset heel.
