Kirke – the perfect summer dress – is a first design from my summer 2012 collection. My idea was to create something fresh and light, and to prove that knits can be worn in hot summer days as well as in the winter, if to use right materials for the weather.

Pattern is written to 3 sizes: S (EU 36), M (EU 38) and L (EU 40)
(circumference under the bust 68/76/84cm).

Kirke is knitted in 3 parts – first you have to knit empire waist right under the bustline, then right and left cup with straps and finally body part of the dress.

Materials:
Materials: 7 (8, 9) skeins of Titan Wool Egitto 100% cotton, DK/8ply (50g 131 yards/120 meters)
3,5mm (US 4) needles
3,5mm (US 4) 80cm circular needles

Difficulty: For intermediate knitter. Skills needed: yo, decreasing and increasing stitches, cable stitches, knitting in the round.
