The Kirsten 4 Piece Set was inspired by my baby sister, and it’s packed with winter goodies: a cowl, boot cuffs, a hat and a Santa hat. All four use the same vintage stitch pattern, so they look amazing worn together.

Make the full set for yourself, or mix and match pieces for quick holiday gifts.

✨ What makes it work

• Four patterns in one. Cowl, boot cuffs, hat and Santa hat.
• Vintage stitch pattern. Front post stitches create a rich, textured look.
• Picture help. The front post slip stitch has pictures and instructions at the end of the pattern.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Simply Soft, Caron in Ocean for the blue set · Heartland, Lion Brand in Redwood for the Santa hat · Pipsqueak, Bernat in Whitey White for the trim and Santa hat pompom
• Yardage: 180 yds
• Hooks: G (4.0mm), H (5.0mm) and I (5.5mm), or size needed to get gauge
• Tools: Removable Stitch Markers (if needed) · Yarn Needle · Scissors

• Skill level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate
• Gauge: H hook: 11 dc and 5 rows = 3” x 2 1/2”. I hook: 10 dc and 5 rows = 3” x 3”. Stitch repeat, laid flat and unstretched, 10 sts and 8 rows = 2 1/2” square (H), 2 3/4” square (I), 2” square (G) · gauge help
