The Kismet Cowl / capelet two-in-one features a herringbone collar, a single wide cable and lends itself to many color combination possibilities! Knit holding multiple strands of fingering / sock weight yarn together to create a marled effect. You are encouraged to mix and match with tonals & speckles.

Herringbone Stitch Note
When knitting herringbone, it is recommended to use a needle size larger than might be typical for a particular yarn weight. I do not recommend going down a needle size from the suggested unless you knit very loosely.

Note: If you’re using an interchangeable set, you can switch out your LHN to a smaller size. This will make the herringbone stitch easier to work and will not affect your gauge.
