The ripple pattern in this vest makes a major statement with minimal effort. The ruched fabric becomes an eye-catching slimming vertical line on the front and back. The optional cowl is separate, giving extra warmth when needed.

Colorway, Vest & Cowl: Saoirse

Bottom half of vest is knit side to side, beginning with a provisional cast on. When panel is desired length, the current live stitches are grafted to the provisional cast on stitches. Slipped stitches at the beginning and end of the row create a lovely finished edge. Stitches are then picked up from the top edge and the armholes and v-neck are worked. The shoulders’ three needle bind off makes an easy finish.

Cowl also begins with a provisional cast on. When panel is desired length, the current live stitches are grafted to the provisional cast on stitches.
